The Very Hungry Caterpillar

In our house we LOVE to read the book called The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  It is a favorite among my girls.  My mother who is a very talented quilter made for both of the girls a hungry caterpillar quillow.  How cute is that word...quillow?  For those of you who don't know a quillow is a quilt that turns into a pillow.  Adorable.  I've posted here a few pics of one of the quillows that my mother so graciously made for her granddaughters.

 

This certainly makes reading time that much more fun and cozy when you add a quilt and a caterpillar plush toy to the mix!
